Soror in the Spotlight: Soror Sarah McClellan

Soror Sarah McClellan was recognized on May 2, 2012 as a Utah Pioneer inthe field of HIV/AIDS. In 1996, Soror McClellan founded the Northern UtahCoalition (NUC) HIV/AIDS Project in Ogden, Utah to address the needs ofindividuals at risk for HIV/AIDS in Ogden and surrounding areas. NUC offerswalk-in appointments, outreach and support groups for those individualssuffering with HIV. Each year the Project coordinates activities for thefollowing events in the Ogden area: NUC coordinates events such as: NationalHIV Testing Day, World AIDS Day, National Latino HIV Testing Day, and AfricanAmerican HIV Awareness Day and an annual Walk-a-Thon. We are so proud of SororMcClellan for her diligence and dedication in our community and for making adifference in the lives of many!
